What if you could use a proven system for achieving your LNC goals? What if you could improve your productivity and save an hour a day starting tomorrow? That’s 5 hours per week, or more than a half-day off. Imagine not having to work 7 days a week – 5 in your clinical job and 2 on your business.
You can do that, when you put these 4 solutions in place, and you can do it right now.
Use Proper Project Management for Achieving Your LNC Goals
Sign up for Asana.com today, and start putting all your projects there instead. You’ll have one place to look for tasks that are still outstanding, and be able to tell at a glance what needs your immediate attention. Asana.com is free. It enables you to sort your tasks by the date, and also to assign tasks to a helper, if you have one.
Create Proper Documentation
Do you find yourself reinventing the wheel every time you have to create a blog post or write a marketing letter? Take 5 minutes and document the steps, then next time you have to do it you’ll be able to quickly work out what needs to happen. There will be fewer mistakes, and the work will get done faster.
Document your plans for achieving your LNC goals for the day, week and month. What works for me is to make a list of tasks I need to accomplish and those I can delegate. I find it does not work for me to scribble on scraps of paper. I use one spinal bound notebook to capture stray thoughts and to set up my tasks for the day.
It satisfies me to be able to cross off items as I finish them. When I have a page with partially crossed off items, I rewrite the list so I can focus on what still needs to be done. At the end of each week, I plan the following week. You can accomplish the same thing by using Asana.com or to transfer the tasks to Asana, particularly the larger ones.
Use your calendar to make appointments with yourself
Decide when you’ll check email and when you’ll work on achieving your LNC goals. Then stick to the schedule. These self-imposed deadlines will not only force you to get the work done, but they’ll help keep you focused, so rather than wasting time on Facebook, you’ll be working on your business.
Take an afternoon to set these systems up
All of these systems can be set up in an afternoon—at least initially. But the time they save you when you use them consistently is phenomenal. An hour a day is just the beginning, but you have to take action. You have to put in the work first, before you can earn the rewards, but the benefits are sweet. In the end, you’ll wonder how you ever managed before you did these four things to improve your business.
