Will you use every one? Probably not, but the ones you do use will be very effective. I personally have used every one and built several businesses from them. Have I ever paid for advertising? Yes – not big budget items but little things here and there and guess what – I got more from the things I did myself than any of those.
Foundations for a Marketing Mindset
You’ll have to interpret your situation yourself, but once you get the hang of it, it will get very simple. You will also have to keep your antennae up so that you can spot the opportunities that are hanging around everywhere. Once you train your mind to think in a marketing mindset, it will become second nature.
You will also become much more aware of what other people are doing so that you can adapt what you’re doing to their techniques as well. We call that “swipe and deploy.” Take what someone else is doing and make it work for you. This isn’t plagiarism; it’s learning how to create a campaign. And don’t worry about what people might think. By the time you try something that someone else is doing, they have already moved on to something else.
Pretty soon, you’ll be coming up with these ideas by yourself and be amazed at your own creativity and ability as your marketing mindset expands. I can’t wait until you learn these skills because I can just see how much this is going to mean to you. People always ask me who does my marketing and publicity and are always amazed when I tell them it’s just me or my assistant.
You may be a little shy when you start out having to do some of the things I mention in my webinar but you are the expert and when people understand how much you know and how you can help them, they will respect what you say as long as you are giving vital information and are passionate about it.
