Pat was the national president of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants and served on the board of directors for 5 years.

As a prominent and respected voice of legal nurse consulting, Pat has been the host of Legal Nurse Podcast, with listeners in over 107 countries, since 2016.
She is a well-known, respected expert in the field of legal nurse consulting. She has written, edited, ghostwritten or coauthored over 90 books.
Pat served as chief editor of Legal Nurse Consulting Principles and Practices, 2nd Edition, the core curriculum for the field.
