Pat Iyer MSN RN LNCC established a highly successful independent legal nurse consulting business in Flemington NJ in 1989. Pat testified as an expert witness for 25 years as a liability expert for medical surgical cases and expert fact witness.

After growing this multi-million dollar business, Pat sold the company and now is a business coach for her membership programs. She provides books, courses, and online training to help LNCs make more money, get more clients and avoid expensive mistakes.

She served as the President of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC) and spent 5 years on the AALNC Executive Board. She is a Legal Nurse Consultant Certified.

Barbara-Levin

Barbara Levin, BSN, RN, ONC, CMSRN, LNCC is the Clinical Scholar of the orthopaedic trauma unit at Massachusetts General Hospital.  The Massachusetts Governor appointed Barbara to the Massachusetts Board of Nursing and she completed her third term as the chair and a total of eight years on the Board where she reviewed and opined on all complaints and licensure issues.

Barbara is a Past President of AALNC and spent 5 years on the AALNC Executive Board.  In addition, she has researched, published, and lectured extensively about patient safety, orthopaedics, medical surgical and documentation practices. Barbara testifies as a national orthopaedics and medical surgical expert.  Also, she co-edited and authored many chapters including her recent international publication “Legal Implications in the Care of Orthopaedic Patients: Serious Complications.” Barbara has collaborated with Pat Iyer to develop and host 10 prior LNC Success ® online conferences.
