This is a must read wherever you are in your expert journey.  Like the 2016 first edition, the content is packed with detailed case examples, best practices, and tips that benefit the nurse who has never testified or a nurse who has testified for years. Additionally, the book offers insights for non-testifying legal nurse consultants (LNCs) whose roles may include vetting and guiding experts.

As a seasoned nurse expert, I found myself nodding, smiling, or groaning as I recognized myself and my similar experiences described in Pat's chapters. You've heard of the queen of the beach read. Pat is the queen of resource books for legal nurses. This is a book I wish I had when I started out 15 years ago!
