Pat Iyer is one of the most educated and authoritative entrepreneurs in the legal nurse consulting arena. In her book "How to Be a Successful LNC: Tips for Your Business and Life", Pat shares her knowledge and years of expertise in owning and operating a successful legal nurse consulting business. Her insight and testimony of her own successes and failures are both inspiring and motivating. I highly recommend this book for legal nurse consultants and life care planners at any stage of their entrepreneurship.

Kellie Clark

This is not a motivational book. It's a practical book based on Pat Iyer's more than 30 years of owning her own LNC business. If you are a new LNC, or an RN thinking about becoming an LNC, this book is an excellent starting point. If you are an experienced LNC, this book will give you fresh ideas for your business. In the book, she talks about the characteristics of a successful entrepreneur. She doesn't minimize the difficulty of owning your own business. She includes her own mistakes, as well as the ways you can avoid making the same mistakes. But it's not all negative. She talks about the freedom and enjoyment of owning your own business and creative ways to make your business grow. As an LNC, I highly recommend this book.
