What is a webinar?
A webinar is a presentation that is delivered over the internet. You may also see it called a masterclass.
Do I need any special equipment to participate in a webinar?
All you need is your computer screen and keyboard and either a telephone, speakers or a headset. You will need a Zoom account or a phone to call in.
You participate in a webinar by listening to the speaker, watching PowerPoint slides, and using the chat to ask questions. You may listen to the presenters through a telephone headset, speakers, or a headset. You use your computer screen to watch the PowerPoint slides and do not need to have PowerPoint installed on your computer to see them. You use your computer keyboard to ask and answer questions.
You may listen to the presentation by dialing a phone number and hearing the presenters over your phone. Or, you may put on a headset that enables you to hear sound through your computer or turn on speakers attached to your computer. You would join the webinar by clicking on a link that will be shared with you when you register for the program.
I would like to see a webinar that has already been presented. How can I do that?
Our programs are recorded and saved for future viewing. We have pre-recorded free masterclasses within the website. You would request the replay.
How do I get the slides and transcript?
We offer the Learning Resource for some of our free webinars. They consist of the slides, transcript, and supplemental articles. They are available some days after the program to allow for the transcript to be created and edited.
Is the transcript reviewed and edited?
Yes, it is edited. Pat is a perfectionist. Accurate transcription is verified before it is finalized.
I would like to earn nursing contact hours for the program. How do I do that?

The provider is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP-3285. CE credit is accepted in all states that require mandatory continuing education for relicensure. Call 1-800-743-4006 with CE questions.
