Barbara Levin, BSN, RN, ONC, CMSRN, LNCC is the Clinical Scholar of the orthopaedic trauma unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. The Massachusetts Governor appointed Barbara to the Massachusetts Board of Nursing and she completed her third term as the chair and a total of eight years on the Board where she reviewed and opined on all complaints and licensure issues.
Barbara is a Past President of AALNC and spent 5 years on the AALNC Executive Board. In addition, she has researched, published, and lectured extensively about patient safety, orthopaedics, medical surgical and documentation practices. Barbara testifies as a national orthopaedics and medical surgical expert. With experience working for both defense attorneys on med-mal, personal injury and product liability cases, she has recently helped plaintiff attorneys as an expert fact witness and personal injury cases.

Christine Dorman DNP, MSN, ACNP RN is the owner and lead nurse consultant for Vantage Point Legal Nurse Consulting (VPLNC). She has been a nurse for over 30 years. She earned her MSN with certification specialty as an ACNP (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner) from Barry University in 2005, and most recently obtained her DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) in Health Systems Executive Leadership from University of Pittsburgh in 2021. She has an extensive nursing background in med-surg, telemetry, pulmonary, trauma, adult critical care, and advanced nursing practice.

Nancy Stuck MSN RN CLNC Nancy has over 33 years as an RN in a level 1 adult trauma/burn ER, neurovascular, and cardiovascular emergency medicine, flight nursing, adult ICU and neonatal ICU. She also works prn as a nurse on the rapid response team. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing Education and has been an educator in both the clinical and academic settings. She has spoken at national conferences including the National Air Medical Transport Conference and the National Medical Transport Leadership Institute Conference. She obtained her CLNC in 2014 and has worked for both plaintiff and defense on med-mal, personal injury, and criminal defense cases.

Mary Beth Kerstein, RN, BSN, MSN, ONC, RN-BC is a registered nurse whose nursing career spans 37 years. She is clinically active and has worked in the hospital setting her entire career. Her roles in the hospital setting include staff RN, critical care education coordinator, clinical nurse manager, data analyst in quality program, and administrative supervisor. She grew up with a passion for nursing and teaching.
Mary Beth holds a master’s degree in nursing and has obtained multiple certifications that allow her to provide the most optimal evaluation and reports. In 2002, she received her CLNC and started working part-time as an inhouse LNC at a defense firm. This most treasured opportunity to work with a dedicated legal team allowed her to learn many aspects of how the LNC can assist lawyers. Since 2009, she has worked at a case management firm where she has analyzed thousands of medical records, simplifying hundreds of complex medical cases documenting their health status before and after traumatic events in a variety of reports that are shared with the case management team, healthcare providers, attorneys, and insurance providers. The key to her success is the objective ability to analyze complex scenarios and to advocate for victims and relevant stakeholders.
