A lifetime respiratory therapist, Joe Curro held positions as a clinician, educator, and administrator. He is the past Director of Pulmonary Services at Brigham & Women's Hospital and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. In addition, Joe managed the Pulmonary Diagnostic and Pulmonary Rehab Departments at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Joe’s responsibilities included respiratory care of the adult, newborn and ECMO population. In addition, Joe is currently adjunct faculty at Northeastern University and Harvard Medical School. Joe has been involved with medical-legal review since 2006 and has collaborated with numerous LNC's on a variety of pulmonary, mechanical ventilation, and emergency airway issues.
Barbara Levin BSN RN ONC CMSRN LNCC is a medical surgical expert witness who has testified in cases involving orthopaedic trauma. She is the Clinical Scholar of the orthopaedic trauma unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. Barbara served as the Chair of the Massachusetts Board of Registered Nurses and was the President of the AALNC. Barbara has been published on many orthopaedic and legal nursing topics and has collaborated with Pat Iyer on several publications.
